crap room... before & during

Are you ready for some beautiful pictures.... ?

This is my craft room before....

pretty awesome, I know.
Yes, I am a hoarder when it comes to craft supplies & junk.
The problem with my original room is that I just didn't have enough space to keep all my treasures, and actually have a spot to work.
I had a habit of just dumping stuff... thinking I would put it away later.
The problem with that ... whenever I had the urge to make something, I would have to clean up my room first...clear a spot to work...and hunt for the supplies I needed.
Ain't nobody got time for that.

Sooo, I moved downstairs to a bigger room. Now I have a window looking out on the backyard where I can keep an eye on my chickie-poos, and I have more space for all my crap.

My husband built me a long workspace and shelves for storage...
 my Etsy packaging station...
printing station with scrapbook paper, cardstock, paper tags, etc...

sewing table and fabric storage...
lots of drawers and cubbies for necessary stuff...

lots of shelf space for supplies, with designated spots for newly aquired junk and projects...
ugly plastic over-the-door shoe organizer for all the random bits...
baskets for windows, frames & misc wood...
bin storage for rubber stamps, ink pads, metal stamps, bags, etc...

It's really not pretty at all...
but everything has a home now, and I'm enjoying making stuff without spending half my time cleaning up and looking for tools.
As long as I tidy up before starting a new project,
 it shouldn't get out-of-hand again.
Wish me luck!!
